ISC at Bloxham School

ISC’s courses take place at Bloxham School, a traditional, independent boarding school founded in 1860.

Bloxham is a fantastic location for a summer school. Set in a picture-perfect village in northern Oxfordshire and near the quaint market town of Banbury and historic Oxford.

The campus provides a very safe environment for students, situated
on the edge of the stunning Cotswolds in 60 acres of beautiful grounds. Bloxham School is 90 minutes from Birmingham and London Heathrow airports.

Year-Round Academic Opportunities

Bloxham School welcomes applications from students of all nationalities, with main entry points at age 13, 14 and 16. Bloxham is a friendly and inclusive school which values learning about other countries and cultures.

Bloxham offers fantastic sports facilities; including tennis courts, astro turf football pitches, sports hall, fitness studio, netball courts, a 23-metre heated pool, and lots of outdoor playing fields.

Students also have excellent facilities for theatre, art and leisure activities, including fantastic food-technology facilities for the ISC Bake Off! 

There are lots of places for our students to relax and make new
friends, including a modern café, well-stocked library and homely common rooms in all the boarding houses. WiFi is available on campus.

All boarding houses are within a 5 minute walk of the facilities.

All houses have individual access codes and are locked down at 23:00. Students can exit houses in an emergency.

The directors and ISC team live on campus and there is always a member of staff happy to help. Each house has a dedicated head of house and house team to support students.

The senior management team and office staff are first-aid trained and there is a pharmacy in Bloxham Village.  The nearest hospital is ten minutes by car.
