General English+ Horse Riding

Our General English + Horse Riding course is designed to help students improve their English, develop their horse riding skills, technique and confidence.

Students receive 3 or 6 hours of expert coaching from the friendly, experienced coaches at our partner riding school - Cotswold Hills Riding Centre.

The coaches help to develop horse riding skills at beginner, experienced or competitive levels. Whether students want to improve their competitive skills, learn to ride or simply enjoy being with the horses and nature, there is something for everyone.

There are lessons on the flat, over jumps or you can go on a hack and explore the beautiful Cotswold countryside. There are lots of opportunities to see many aspects of equestrian life as well as learning to ride or improving your riding.

Learning Objectives
 

  • Improve horse riding skills and overall fitness

  • Practise trail riding, jumping and/or dressage Practise and improve technique

  • To learn and practise vocabulary related to horse riding

  • To practise spoken communication skills

  • To practise and improve listening skills during coaching sessions


Key Information
 

  • For students aged 9-17 years old, 3 or 6 hours of horse riding lessons at Cotswold Hill Riding Centre

  • Transport to the riding centre included

  • Maximum ratio of 3 students to 1 coach

  • Expert coaching from friendly, experienced coaches

  • Includes General English programme - 30 hrs/27 lessons of General English lessons, 3 full-day excursions and daily activity programme
