Homely and comfortable boarding houses
Bloxham's peaceful campus is located in Bloxham village - a very safe environment for young people.
Residential accommodation is in one of the college’s eight comfortable, single sex boarding houses. Each house has
its own character with a mixture of modern and more traditional buildings. There are a range of rom types available - singles, twins, triples, quads and multi-bedded rooms.
There are comfortable twin rooms for older students and small dormitory or multi-bedded rooms for our younger students.
Houses are kept clean by a dedicated team who regularly maintain bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas in the houses.
Please see our Gallery for more pictures of Bloxham's homely boarding houses.
Great Common Areas for Socialising
All of the boarding houses have a variety of rooms and spacious common areas to relax. The common rooms have lots of things for students to enjoy, such as table tennis, table football, a TV and DVD player.
Houses are single sex, but students can meet one another in the shared common areas. Each house has a fully equipped kitchen, where students can share an evening snack and use their English to socialise with international housemates.
There are members of staff in each house to help the students and make them feel at home.
Safe, Compact Campus
Bloxham's beautiful campus is set in a safe village environment and all boarding houses are within a 5 minute walk of the classrooms, cafe, sports facilities and dining halls.
The boarding houses have their own keypads and access codes and are locked at 23:00 hours.
Each house has a dedicated head of house and team, who hold weekly meetings with the students and pass on important information. Staff also take nightly registers and spend time with the students each evening at supper, when students can have an evening snack and talk about their days. All of our staff live on site so there is always someone happy to help.
House Laundry at Bloxham
We have a laundry service mid-course for a small charge of £5.00. Bedding is provided and changed free of charge each course.
Students need to bring a towel for showering and swimming. You can download the Student Information Sheet for a full list of what to bring.
