Our Story

Improve your English, make friends for life and have a great time at International Student Club, our summer school for students aged 9-17 years.

International Student Club began in 1997 with the aim of having the best possible summer school in the best possible location. We work hard to deliver high-quality courses and with the help of our dedicated, passionate team, we aim to provide you with a truly unforgettable, educational experience.

In 2023, ISC was named in EL Gazette’s top 25% of UK junior summer schools. Our students seem to agree with this rating, as we received excellent feedback across all three courses, with 97% of students rating their experience at ISC as good/excellent! 

We had lots of lovely compliments about our “interesting, fun lessons” that gave students a “boost in confidence”, our “amazing activities and trips” and our “super-friendly, positive and kind staff…who make you feel like you’re at home”. One of our students commented that their ISC experience “was perfect, the most memorable thing I have done in my life” and another noted that their favourite thing was "the ISC community and kindness of everyone".

​In our last British Council inspection (2022), we were very pleased to be awarded 8 areas of strength for teaching, course design, learning resources, leisure opportunities, staff management, premises and facilities, accommodation and care of students.

Historic Bloxham School is located near the picture-perfect Cotswolds and is only 1 hour from Oxford and 1.5 hours from London! ISC is "an excellent summer school in an amazing location" and we hope to see you in 2024!
